Miles on catcalling: 'Dear kuyas, PLEASE STOP IT!'

Many netizens have found Miles Ocampo's tweet on catcalling relatable.

Posted yesterday, November 17, on Twitter, the young actress encouraged fellow women to act against men who use offensive language.

“Hi baby," she wrote. “Excuse me, kuya. Hindi mo ako anak. Dear girls, I feel you. I really hate it. Kapag sinagot mo naman sila, biglang tumutupi. Haaay! ‘Di tayo pwedeng maging nice all the time, eh. Paramdam natin na mali yung ginagawa nila."

"Dear kuyas, PLEASE STOP IT!!!!!!!!!"

To which a netizen replied with, "My daughter just told me that she is experiencing that. and its making her uncomfortable and scared. So,  kinausap ko ‘yung lalaki to stop. It’s okay to say hi sa anak ko pero hindi sa ganong paraan.
So please girls if you're experiencing this type of issue or anything that is making you feel uncomfortable or even being harassed, be brave to stand up for yourself and tell your parents or your brother or sister. ‘Wag niyong hayaan na magpatuloy."

Another netizen commented, "We shouldn't even call them kuya."

Meanwhile, Miles starred in the John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo romance-comedy trilogy "A Very Speci Love," "You Changed My Life", and "It Takes A Man and A Woman".
