After calling off his 19-year marriage with Harlene Bautista last October, Romnick Sarmento talked about his relationship with his five children on "Magandang Buhay" last November 9.
The 46-year-old actor turned emotional when asked how he is as a father.
"Siyempre gusto mong maramdaman nila na nandiyan ka, na mahal mo sila, na kahit anong pagdaanan nila, you're going to be a part of their lives.
He also expressed his worries about being unable to support his five-year-old daughter, because he'll be turning 50 soon.
"Iniisip ko lang na pagdating niya ng 25, ilang taon ako, and how much more can I do for her?
He furthered, "Para sa akin, it is such a gift to be given these many children. And to be entrusted this much. So make the most out of it.
As for the best advice he can give to children? Respect your mothers every time.
Kahit nasa lugar kayo, nanay niyo 'yan, eh. Nagbuwis 'yan ng buhay para sa inyo," he said.
