Kathryn, may role sa first meeting nina Khalil at Gabbi?!

Low-key and steady: these are the two words that Khalil Ramos used to describe his exclusive relationship with Gabbi Garcia.

In a recent press huddle at the Cinema One Orginals Film Festival 2018 grand presscon yesterday, October 2, the singer-actor shared what he liked the most about the young actress.

"Even though she's 19, she's very mature. She has a very strong personality," Khalil related. "She's a very independent person. Same kami ng wavelength kaya siguro kami nag-click agad."

When asked about their first meeting, he shared that Kathryn Bernardo played a vital role. YAY!

"When they were kids (Kathryn and Gabbi), prior to showbiz, nag-mo-model silang dalawa. So, sa 18th birthday ni Julia (Barretto), pinakilala niya (Kathryn) kami to each other," Khalil added.

Meanwhile, both Khalil and Gabbi have already met each other's parents, and it seemed the two families really get along well.

"Same upbringing kami kaya medyo relatable yung lives namin. Very welcoming sa akin (‘yung parents niya). Si Mommy naman gandang-ganda kay Gab. Pareho silang mahilig sa mga girly stuff."

The "She's Dating The Gangster" actor also shared how he planned to bring her as his date to the recent ABS-CBN Ball 2018 but decided not to do it because of their respective networks.

Catch Khalil in "Paglisan", a musical-animated film, and one of the official nine entries at the upcoming Cinema One Originals Film Festival starting October 12 in select cinemas in Metro Manila.

Joining him are veteran actors Ian Veneracion and Eula Valdez.
