Warm, welcoming, and committed are just three of the traits we Filipinos possess every time we have guests who are from a foreign land.
Being hospitable is second nature for us, and we already made it our trademark ages ago.
And in celebration of United Nations' Day, October 24, we listed down some foreign artists who starred in some Star Cinema movies and acted side-by-side with our local artists.
Sandara was tagged as the "Pambansang Krung-Krung" during her early years in the country. And before she hit it big as one of the four members of 2NE1, the actress starred in three romantic comedies “Bcuz of You,” “Can This be Love,” and “D’Lucky Ones.” She also had a cameo in the 2017 film “My Ex and Whys”.

Thai model and actor Mario Maurer played Erich Gonzales leading man in 2012's "Suddenly It's Magic" directed by Rory Quintos. His role was a Thai superstar who fell in love with a Filipina Ilocos-based baker.
Mario's famous leading lady in Thailand, Baifern Pimchanok (lead star of "Crazy Little Thing Called Love") did a special role in the movie as well.

"Pinoy Big Brother All In" big winner Daniel Matsunaga is a Brazilian model turned actor. His first Star Cinema movie was "Sisterakas" with Vice Ganda, AiAi Delas Alas, and Kris Aquino. Daniel was also cast in "She's The One", "Past Tense", and "Fallback".
Also a former "Pinoy Big Brother" housemate, Ryan Bang was cast in more than 10 Star Cinema movies since 2012.
He joined Piolo Pascual and Angelica Panganiban in "Every Breath U Take" released in 2012, Coco Martin and Vice Ganda in "Beauty and the Bestie", Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil in "My Ex and Whys", and Kim Chiu in his first lead role in "DOTGA: The One That Ghost Away", to name a few.
