Aga Muhlach, binalikan ang kanyang iconic roles!

Aga Muhlach is more than happy to spill all his secrets in a recent exclusive, speaking about four of his many iconic roles on the big screen and television.

For now, "May Minamahal", "Sana Maulit Muli", "Oki Doki Doc", and "Kung Ako Na Lang Sana" are in the hot seat, and Aga revealed some fascinating never-before-known secrets from these films sets. And not just that, he also gave us all the deets about his romantic relationships with his co-stars Aiko Melendez, Lea Salonga, and Sharon Cuneta. Curious? Keep reading!

1. "May Minamahal"

For this 1993, we (or, if we're being honest, Bea Alonzo) got Aga to reveal details about his fling with co-star Aiko. He divulged, "Mabilis lang, mabilis na mabilis lang [naging kami after we shot the movie]. It was fast lang. We were young, and I was busy and she was busy too. We had our moments, but when we were filming it was nice."

2. "Sana Maulit Muli"

As for his "Sana Maulit Muli" leading lady, Aga maintained that they have never been anything more than strictly platonic. He explained, "Lea and I have always been friends. It was never on. We've always been good friends."

Aga also sang praises for the creative genius behind the 1999 hit, Direk Olive Lamasan, now currently the Managing Director of Star Cinema. He enthused, "It was nice because nakatrabaho ko si Olive Lamasan, doon ko naramdaman 'yung on the spot na kahit 'yung mga eksena namin na mabibigat, doon niya lang isusulat 'yung monologue mo. Tsaka niya ibibigay sa'yo, tapos [that day din isho-shoot.]"

3. "Oki Doki Doc"

"Oki Doki Doc" was a hit show long before its film version hit cinemas. An iconic hit in the late 90's, it's a show many of us grew up with and Aga reminisced about the real reason why it came to a close in December 2000.

According to the actor, it was a snap decision. He explained, "Nakaupo kami lahat at may tatanggalin sa cast namin. So, nag-meeting kami sa studio, sabi ko 'Since this is going to happen, let this be our last taping day.' So lahat sila [surprised. And I said,] 'Since I'm geting married, aalis na rin si ganito, if mawawala 'yung original cast, let's end this show on a high note.'

4. "Kung Ako na Lang Sana"

Aga denied that he was ever romantically involved with his "Kung Ako Na Lang Sana" on-screen partner, however, he still called the film "an event".

He said, "This movie was really an event at that time. Si Sharon, nakasama na niya lahat ng guys sa film industry, ako nakasama ko na lahat sa industriya. In 20 years, pareho kaming nandoon pero wala kaming ginawa except 'yan lang."

He continued, "That's the first and last, well not last [yet, anymore] but that's the only movie we made. It was nice, it was fun. We remain friends until now. "
