Star Cinema managing director Inang Olivia Lamasan is a woman who seemed to know our heart aspirations when she created some of the most iconic movie characters from Agnes (Lea Salonga) and Jerry (Aga Muhlach) in "Sana Maulit Muli", Jenny (Claudine Barretto) and Lino (Piolo Pascual) in "Milan", to Eli (Daniel Padilla) and Mia (Kathryn Bernardo) in "Barcelona: A Love Untold".
And today, October 17, as she celebrates her birthday, let us take a good look once again to two of Inang's greatest works, "The Mistress", and "In The Name of Love".

"In The Name of Love" was released in 2011. It earned Angel Locsin the Movie Actress of the Year award from the 28th PMPC Star Awards for Movies, the Gawad Pasado Pinakapasadong Aktres award, and the 43rd Box Office Entertainment Fim Actress of the Year. Aga, meanwhile, also scored four recognitions while Jake Cuenca bagged his first Movie Supporting Actor of the Year award.
The movie also gave Inang the Movie Original Screenplay of the Year from PMPC, the Pinakapasadong Direktor, and the Pinakapasadong Istorya, both from the 14th Gawad Pasado award.
Meanwhile, "The Mistress" starred veteran actors Ronaldo Valdez, Hilda Koronel, Carmi Martin, Anita Lina, and more.
John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo were hailed the 2013 Box Office King and Queen because of the movie.
Inang, meanwhile, scored another Best Director award from the 31st Luna Awards.
