Marlo admitted he was never close to his dad when his mom was still alive.
"It was never me and my dad. Siguro ako and my mom, siya and Daddy," he said.
Even so, Marlo chose to be a good son and does everything to make his old man happy. When asked if he will allow his dad to re-marry, Marlo answered, “Okay lang naman.
Meanwhile, the "Fallback" star promised to live a life according to his mom's childhood advice for him.
“Basta gawin mo lang 'yung tama. Katulad ng dati, hindi pa ako right age, high school pa lang ako, may girlfriend na ako agad. Parang in everything’s perfect time, parang ganun, God’s perfect time. Huwag magmadali, but humanap lang din ng someone na mabait and simple, tanggap ka, mahal ka sa kung ano ka," he shared.
