The cast and the whole team of the nine proudly Pinoy original films were present last night, October 9, at the opening of the 2018 Cinema One Originals Festival held at Gateway Mall Cinema.
Present at the red carpet were Cinema One Channel Head Ronald Arguelles, Star Cinema Managing Director Inang Olivia Lamasan, the star-studded cast of "A Short History of a Few Bad Things", "Asuang", "Double Twisting Double Back", "Bagyong Bheverlynn", "Never Tear Us Apart", "Mamu; And a Mother Too", "Paglisan", "Pang MMK", and "Hospicio", and many other personalities from the industry, such as Director Mikhail Red, Bb. Joyce Bernal, ABS-CBN Archives and Restoration Head Leo Katigbak, and more.
To promote originality was the event's core since day one. MYX VJ Robi Domingo hosted the program.
The audience also got the chance to watch "A Star is Born" starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper with Filipino-American cinematographer Matthew Libatique, known for his work in "Requiem for a Dream", "Noah", and "Black Swan", to name a few.
The festival will run from October 12 to 21 in select cinemas in Metro Manila.
