The actress opened up about her fearless foray into projects outside of McLisse, her love team with McCoy de Leon, ever since wrapping on their Black Sheep-produced film "Sakaling Maging Tayo". Speaking to PUSH in an interview published today, October 10, Elisse revealed, "Isa sa mga reasons ko kung bakit it’s good also that we have different projects, kasi mas nate-test yung aming capabilities, kung saan 'yung hangganan namin, kung saan pa 'yung kaya namin."

She continued, "I think it’s for our own growth, which is important."
However, Elisse maintains that she's grateful for everything she's achieved through McLisse and all the fans who have supported her along the way. She explained, "I’m really thankful for McLisse, 'yung team up, as well as the fans talaga kasi sobrang mapagmahal nila. At saka alam mo 'yung hindi talaga sila sumusuko, 'yung patience nila and understanding. So I’m really thankful for the McLisse fans."
"Sakaling Maging Tayo" finished shooting last September 22. It is slated to hit cinemas soon.
McLisse previously appeared in Coco Martin's reboot of "Ang Panday" released during the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival.
