Pia Wurtzbach, nilinaw ang current status with Marlon Stockinger: ‘I never said we broke up!’

Pia Wurtzbach and Marlon Stockinger certainly turned heads when they arrived at the ABS-CBN Ball 2018 last Saturday, September 29, looking every bit like Barbie and Ken.

Of course, the question on everyone’s minds was if they were still a couple - it was only last August when the beauty queen and the racecar driver were rumored to have split, following Pia’s Instagram post about having “no boyfriend, no problem.”

Pia and Marlon shut the rumors down at a press interview at the Ball, saying that the “no boyfriend” post didn’t mean anything - it was just for a brand.

“That was actually a post [for a brand] for boyfriend jeans. I understand the confusion, and I talked to the brand after because people thought [I was single]. But it was really for the boyfriend jeans,” she said.

Marlon continued, “Obviously Pia asked me before she posted the picture… it’s for the brand, and it’s always about having fun.”

The beauty queen-actress then maintained that they never broke up, and most of the news of their split were just rumors.

“I never had an interview where I said we were broken up,” she said.

Pia and Marlon have been dating since October 2016.

Meanwhile, Pia made her leading lady debut in the romantic-comedy “My Perfect You” with Gerald Anderson last March. She also starred in the 2017 superhero comedy “The Revenger Squad” with Vice Ganda and Daniel Padilla.
