Edward 'kinabahan' sa first movie without Maymay: 'Sanay ako na andoon siya sa side ko'

Maymay Entrata is one supportive leading lady! Her on-screen partner Edward Barber's first solo film project, Direk Paul Soriano's "First Love", is fast approaching its October 17 playdate. And according to Edward, Maymay was a source of unwavering support for the whole ride, from his first day on set to his last.

He told us in an exclusive interview at the ABS-CBN Ball 2018 last September 29, "Kinabahan ako siyempre kasi sanay ako na si Maymay, andoon siya sa side ko. So, I was nervous but she was there supporting me the whole time."

As for working with industry giants Aga Muhlach and Bea Alonzo for the upcoming romantic drama, Edward says it was a breeze. He explained, "One of the most amazing experiences ever, I felt so relaxed on set. And I don't think it was because of my personal skill, it was because Sir Aga and Ate Bea really made me feel comfortable."

First Love” is produced by TEN17P with Star Cinema and Viva Films. It was shot entirely in Vancouver, Canada.

Don't forget: MayWard will appear in ABS-CBN Films, Star Cinema's official entry to the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival, the Vice Ganda-led "Fantastica: The Princesses, The Prince, The Perya.”
