JC Santos, Migz Haleco + more tease about new music
It’s just the first month of 2018, but the blessings just keep on coming for Star Music’s new artists.
Band Agsunta, singing duo Miko and Gab, Filipino-Japanese artist Natsumi Saito, acoustic singer Migz Haleco, and actor JC Santos were all smiles when they faced the press yesterday, January 30.
Although the first four were already familiar faces in the label’s growing roster, actor and now recording artist JC also recently signed a contract under Star Music and is expected to launch his album on February 18. According to him, it will be composed of six tracks including his debut single “Pwede Naman,” which is now available on iTunes and Spotify.
Former “The Voice Kids” contestant Natsumi also shared some fresh details about her album launch in Japan soon. Her self-titled album, which will be composed of six songs, will include her carrier single “Para Lang Sa’yo” that was recently released last October 2017.

The singing tandem behind the hit single “Hugot” were also attentive to answer questions from the press. Given their talents and good looks, Miko and Gab were both asked if they're interested in entering showbiz. Well, it looks like the two are up for the challenge as they both answered that they are open for opportunities although they’d rather focus on their music first.

Also present is "ASAP" Jambayan’s very own Migz to promote his latest single “’Pag Ika’y Nagmahal.” He revealed his struggles on how hard it was to come up with an original now that he's in the mainstream industry. Nonetheless, he'll still give his 100% when performing in front of the audience.

Fast-rising band Agsunta was also very open to talk about their humble beginnings and how they are slowly embracing the mainstream music. The four-member band even shared their process on how they write a song, in which most of the stories are from their guitarist Mikel Arevalo.
Migz and Agsunta are set to hold a joint post-Valentine concert titled “ValenTimes 2” on February 15 at Teatrino with special guests Ylona Garcia and Inigo Pascual.
We wish all these artists luck on their journey through music! :)
