We all have our own different ways in coping with heartbreak, and we guess JC Santos is handling it pretty well – or so we thought.
Fresh from the Star Music New Artists press conference earlier today, January 30, actor and now recording artist looked so vibrant as ever, even after the news broke out that he has called it quits with theater actress Teetin Villanueva.
In our exclusive interview with him after the press con, JC shared what he has been doing now that he is still on the "moving on" phase.
“Marami akong ginawang bago. Marami akong tinry na bagong gagawin like, ang New Year's resolution ko talaga ay maging vegan. So I'm vegan now. I'm just trying. Kung hindi ko na kaya, hindi ko na kaya. Pero sa ngayon, isang buwan na,” he said.
We also saw how he has been pretty vocal in various interviews that there’s no third party involved in the breakup, and it was only his career in general that caused it. So after all that he’s been through, what he truly realized is how much he values his career. "Mahal ko talaga ang career ko eh," he said.
When asked about what he learned from his previous relationship, he initially remained quiet, then simply left us with a quote: “Take a look at the bigger picture first before you decide.”
But amidst his busy schedule and the pain he’s dealing with, we wonder, is his heart ready to love again?
“Hindi pa. Ifo-focus ko muna… ibibigay ko muna ang 100% sa career ngayon. Sa music.”
JC has signed a contract under Star Music, through which he released his debut single “Pwede Naman.” He will have his album launch on February 18 at Robinsons Manila.
