Kapamilya award-winning actress Bea Alonzo is now officially part of the dog mothers squad!
But it's not an instant decision for Bea to be the full-fledged dog master that she is now. She actually has a deeply-rooted fear of dogs that goes way back to her childhood days. And in an Instagram post yesterday, January 29, she shared her personal story.
"When I was 6 years old, I was trapped inside a dog house. Yes, trapped. I was playing hide and seek with my cousins and I don't know what got into my head that I decided to hide inside a dog house. I was attacked by the dog (who had just given birth and was disturbed by the naughty little girl )," she wrote.
Like most childhood traumas, Bea was very much affected by the attack. "That incident made me fear dogs for the past 24 years," she confessed.
Now, Bea has started a new chapter because of the unexpected arrival of a cute little furry friend!
She admitted, "I still am scared actually, but three days ago I got this cute little puppy from a nice guy and I swear I screamed the first time I saw the puppy!"
The "A Love to Last" star then went to give a "warning" to her followers that they'll definitely see lots of posts that will feature her new "obsession".
"And he is the gentlest dog I have ever seen ️ Fell in love with him instantly. Meet Walter White You will be seeing a lot of him on my Instagram I am currently obsessed with him I can't wait to get on this journey with him for I have not experienced this kind of love before -- love for animals. I know I will learn a lot from this journey."
Have a happy, furry journey with your new pupper, Bea!
Bea is working on the following films: "Eerie" with Charo Santos-Concio, directed by Mikhail Red; and "Kasal" with Paulo Avelino and Derek Ramsay, directed by Ruel S. Bayani.
