Judy Ann Santos stared at herself in the “magic mirror” on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” last night, January 17, then smiled as she described the woman standing in front of her.
"A happy, confident person,” she said.
How she got there was no easy task. She explained she learned to be content with herself the moment she realized the importance of acceptance.
"Accepting the realities of life,” the actress shared. “Everything changes and you just have to just jump into that change na it's not all the time na nandun ka… Okay pa rin."
She started tearing up then and when asked why, she replied, "Ewan ko! Siguro kasi ngayon ko lang nasabi na okay ako."
"Iba pala 'yung sinasabi mo na binato mo lang, kesa 'yung alam mong okay ka,” she added.
The Prime Superstar acknowledged that she wouldn’t be where she is now without “a lot work, a lot of prayers, and a lot of understanding,” as well as the people around her. Especially her family, husband Ryan Agoncillo, and mom Carol.
“Hindi ko magagawa ‘to without them,” said Judy Ann.
Don’t forget to catch her in the film “Ang Dalawang Mrs Reyes” with Angelica Panganiban, now in 180 cinemas nationwide.
It follows the story of Lianne (Judy Ann) and Cindy (Angelica), two very different women with the same goal; and that is to keep their husbands.
But soon, they realized what they need to do is to keep them apart... from each other.
Will they get their revenge or will the jokes still be on them until in the end?
Directed by Jun Robles Lana, the film also stars Joross Gamboa, JC de Vera, Andrea Brillantes, Carmi Martin, and more.
