You can avoid it all you want, but a little jealousy in a relationship never hurts. In fact, wife and mother of three Judy Ann Santos thinks it actually helps keep the fire burning.
"Hindi dapat nawawala 'yun,” she shared on “Magandang Buhay” last Monday, January 8. “Pero depende naman sa selos, kung sinasadya na lang para magpatawa na lang, ibang usapan 'yun. Pero 'yung mga cute-cute lang, pwede mo pang sakyan.'Pag kampante ka naman sa relationship mo with your husband, 'di na nagma-matter kung sinong kasama niyang babae, kung sino 'yung kausap niyang babae.”
But the actress wants to keep things balanced. She said that too much of it will do no good between partners. “'Pag merong sobrang selosan, 'yun pa 'yung nagiging cause na mag-fall out of love ang isa sa inyo kasi sobra naman.”
There’s also a way to keep them from getting distracted. Bring out the best version of yourself and remind your other half how lucky he really is.
“Mas para sa sarili 'yung looking good. Of course, you always want to look good for your husband, pero kailangan meron ka ring binibigay sa sarili mo. 'Di pwedeng [puro bigay], kailangan may kabig ka din. May quiet time ka. Kailangan may time ka to shop, may time ka to kahit magdasal ka lang. Basta may hobby siya, may hobby ka,” said Judy Ann.
And of course, when you look good, he’s going to want more of you and whenever that happens, here’s what the Prime Superstar thinks you should do: "Ibigay mo na, tapos sumandal na lang ako dito. Ibigay mo lang!”
Her real-life bestie Gladys Reyes agrees and said spouses shouldn’t forget or neglect the importance of having some “sexy time”.
"'Yung intimacy ng mag-asawa, kahit gaano kayong katagal bilang mag-asawa o bilang magkasama sa buhay, 'di dapat nawawala 'yun eh. Kung pwede nga lang i-schedule 'yun eh. Lalo na kung marami ng bagets, 'di ba?" said Gladys.
Judy Ann and Gladys, the tandem we all loved from the iconic teleserye “Mara Clara”, are reunited on the big screen in the comedy-drama “Ang Dalawang Mrs Reyes”.
The film follows the story of Lianne (Judy Ann) and Cindy (Angelica Panganiban), two very different women with the same goal; and that is to keep their husbands.
But soon, they realized what they need to do is to keep them apart... from each other.
Will they get their revenge or will the jokes still be on them until in the end?
Directed by Jun Robles Lana, “Ang Dalawang Mrs Reyes” also stars Joross Gamboa, JC de Vera, Andrea Brillantes, Carmi Martin, and more.
Catch it this January 17 in cinemas!
