Miyo/Malia (Kathryn Bernardo) was once again tested by Sen. Paglinauan (Freddie Webb) when he was sent to deliver a package to a mysterious location, only be left clueless against thugs on last Friday’s (September 1) episode of “La Luna Sangre.”
But Miyo/Malia wasn’t as defenseless as he seemed and managed to fight off all the sketchy guys that threatened to kill him, beyond angry that someone wanted him dead. He later confronted his boss and the head of Sen. Paglinauan’s security, Manuel, about it. Despite telling his boss about his near brush with death, Manuel took it nonchalantly and gave him the money he was owed for completing his assignment. Miyo/Malia later overheard Manuel talking about a mysterious shipment and, as he was bent on digging up dirt on Sen. Paglinauan, decided to follow him to the meetup.
This is our scene of the day! Miyo/Malia went to the pier where the meetup was set and caught the whole thing on camera. Here’s why it’s our scene of the day:
Miyo/Malia was hiding behind a huge pile of junk, phone trained on Manuel and whoever he was meeting (it’s good he has evidence!)
Sen. Paglinauan arrived and the shipment was finally revealed to be weapons (A LOT OF WEAPONS) that were gifts for an important and special someone (I’m assuming he means to give them to Supremo, but what’s Supremo gonna do with guns when he’s got supernatural powers at his disposal?? He’s already got scary fangs and crazy mind powers - he doesn’t need weapons to be any scarier)
The senator left, and while his car was driving away, Miyo/Malia took that opportunity to run (RUN, MIYO, RUN)
BUT MANUEL SAW HIM (OHNOOOO)
Oh boy. Miyo/Malia’s in trouble now.
Elsewhere, Supremo (Richard Gutierrez) contacted Ms. Jacintha Magsaysay, the political strategist he wants to head his campaign, as Gilbert Imperial via email and online messaging, determined to at least meet her despite her already many rejections on his offer.
What will Sen. Paglinauan do now that Miyo has knowledge of his illegal dealings? Catch an all-new episode of “La Luna Sangre” tonight on Primetime Bida after “FPJ's Ang Probinsyano."
