How 'Seven Sundays' changed Dingdong Dantes as a kuya

Dingdong Dantes got candid about his new discoveries on family life as he reflected on his upcoming film "Seven Sundays".

The actor, in a recent set visit, shared that portraying a second son in "Seven Sundays" has given him new perspective on his role as the kuya to his four siblings Angelo, Victoria, Trina, and Aya in real life.

"Sa amin kasi ako ang panganay and [ang character ko dito] hindi panganay so for me to have a perspective of a sibling who is in the middle of a family gives me a different appreciation of my own siblings," he said.

"Because nalalaman ko how it is to be in their shoes."

He continued, "As actors, we get the opportunity to dive into the lives of people na hindi naman tayo and from there, nakikita natin from a different perspective na ah 'ganito pala ang kuya.'"

"So nalalaman ko na nakakairita pala ako as a kuya sa totoong buhay," Dingdong added jokingly, drawing laughs from reporters.

"Seven Sundays" also stars some of the biggest names in the industry – Aga Muhlach, Enrique Gil, Cristine Reyes, and Mr. Ronaldo Valdez. It's a family drama-comedy directed by Cathy Garcia-Molina, to be released in cinemas very soon.
