Take it from its stars Dingdong Dantes and Aga Muhlach: "Seven Sundays" will portray the truth of Filipino families in the big screen.
According to the two superstars, the upcoming comedy-drama about a family who reunites when their father is diagnosed with cancer draws heavily on the Filipino's family-centric values and is an important movie that will promote empathy.
"Isa sa pinakamahalagang pillar ng [society] natin ang pamilya, so mahalagang palakasin siya. To share a story about a family is such a good way para maka-relate tayo, malaman natin kung ano bang pinagdadaanan ng iba," Dingdong said in an interview with the press during a set visit last September 22.
"Pag naka-relate tayo, we can also fix our own families by sharing [this kind] of stories."
To which Aga added, "When you watch this film, we're hoping that everyone, bawat Pilipino ay makaka-relate sa bawat isa sa amin."
Enrique Gil, Cristine Reyes, and Mr. Ronaldo Valdez also star in "Seven Sundays" which will hit cinemas very soon.
