What Piolo and Toni want people to learn from ‘Last Night’

Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga don’t only want to make people enjoy watching “Last Night.” They want everyone to learn something from it as well.

The blockbuster tandem related that it’s a movie that shows the importance of hope and love despite the dark reality of life.

“Ang buhay laging may pag-asa. We should never give up on life, because life never gives up on us. Everyday there’s a new chance to live again,” Piolo said during their media launch today, September 21.

He continued, “That’s Mark’s message in the film. There’s always a silver lining. In the horizon there’s a silver lining, there’s hope.”

Toni also stressed the importance of unconditional love and how it’s something that can truly save someone’s life.

Masaya ako kapag masaya ka,” she related.

“You only want the best for that person and you want that person to be better…

“Last Night” is directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal and written by Bela Padilla. It premieres in cinemas September 27.
