We watch their heavy catfights on “Wildflower” every single night, but what really happens whenever Maja Salvador, Sunshine Cruz, and Aiko Melendez have to film confrontation scenes together?
Not to be anti-climactic, but mostly nothing. And if there are post-filming injuries, they’re all just accidents.
Take Aiko’s eye injury after being scratched by Maja’s nail. The two actresses related that it was other factors - like cake icing all over the floor - that led to the injury.
“The show must go on talaga.
Despite that, the two onscreen enemies remain friends in real life.
“Alam ko naman kung gaano ako ka-love ni Maja… tapos tumakbo na agad sa akin si baby girl after ng take,” Aiko said.
Meanwhile, Sunshine admitted that it’s really hard for her to slap Aiko while filming because they’re really close friends offcam.
Pero ‘yung sampal namin ganito lang (gentle),” she said.
Maja added, “Ayaw nilang saktan ‘yung isa’t isa.
But Aiko maintained that they just really don’t want to end up hurting each other physically.
“The least na gusto mong gawin is saktan ‘yung kaibigan mo,” she said.
