JC de Vera didn’t shy away from admitting that he misses Jessy Mendiola on the Sunday comedy show “Banana Sundae.”

The actor related that the whole team has formed a super close bond on set, and that it’s hard when someone leaves.

“Lahat kami sa 'Banana Sundae,' siyempre nami-miss namin si Jessy… siyempre hindi na siya 'yung sumasayaw palagi,” he told PEP in a report today, August 3.

He added that they have some adjustments to do, but they’re all slowly coping with Jessy’s absence.

“Hard din for us, pero kailangang mag-move on, mag-move forward,” he said.

It was last month when news broke out that Jessy was allegedly axed from the show because of a tiff with a wardrobe assistant.

The actress has since cleared up the issue, and maintained that the misunderstanding has already been resolved.

“Okay na, napag-usapan na. Nag-sorry siya, nag-explain siya, nag-explain ako. Okay naman,” she said.
