#LaLunaSangreLadyInWhite Scene of the Day: Meet the Lady

An old character returned to world of the Moonstone Trilogy on last night’s (August 28) episode of “La Luna Sangre.”

With the Moonchasers in danger from vampires as Nognog (Francis Magundayao) unknowingly blew their headquarters’ location and were on their tail, Prof. T (Albert Martinez) brought them all to a different location where they would fight.

But with nine Moonchasers, plus Nognog, against more than a dozen vampires with reinforcements on the way - the odds obviously weren’t in their favor. Exciting, right?! This is our scene of the day! It went like this:

  • The Moonchasers were completely surrounded by vampires. (I really like the Moonchasers’ weapons, okay? But wouldn’t it be a good idea to have more of Tristan’s type of weapon so they don’t have to get so close to kill vampires? HAHAHAHA)
  • The fighting began! The Moonchasers were winning! (Super cool ng close-ups! Talagang pinapakita ‘yung Moonchasers and their awesome fighting skills! *thumbs up*)
  • ...and then the tables turned and the vampires overpowered the Moonchasers, knocking them down together in the middle of the room (OHNOOOOO)
  • With all the Moonchasers down and gathered together, the vampires surrounded them and leaned over them with their sharp nails and huge fangs (I would not want to be in the middle of that, no way. It looked like something from a nightmare, from one angle. *shudders*)
  • And then, nude heels clicked as someone walked down the hall. (OOOHHH WHO’S THIS? Also, love the shoes!)
  • The Moonchasers were struggling against the vampires to no avail (omg omg omg please don’t die please don’t die)
  • A shot of the lady still walking in the hall showed she was in all white (very stylish, I like it! I love the effect of the jacket draped over her shoulders - it looks like a cape!)
  • The lady entered the room, guns in both hands, and it’s Samantha Imperial (Maricar Reyes-Poon)! (*GASPS* OMG SHE’S BACK!)
  • She came in shooting at the vampires and it distracted them from the Moonchasers (OHYEAH!)
  • The Moonchasers broke free and fought once again (WOOHOO GO MOONCHASERS!)
  • Vampires surrounded Samantha and she spun around, shooting every vampire that was around her (oh that was so cool!!!)
  • While the fighting was going on, one vampire knocked Nognog out and carried him away as he and a few others retreated (NOGNOG NOOO)
  • Samantha continued to kill vampires and in the process revealed that she is a vampire herself (oh boy. The Moonchasers are in for a big surprise.)
  • With the vampires gone, the Moonchasers turned their attention to her and readied themselves to attack (ARE YOU GUYS SERIOUS?? SHE JUST HELPED YOU!)
  • Prof. T stopped them from attacking, unfazed by the guns she had trained on them (laging pa-cool si Prof haha)
  • One Moonchaser questioned Prof’s order to not attack, stating she is a vampire, and Samantha put the guns down (Does she seem like an enemy to you??)
  • Prof said he knew what she is and told them all she is their ally, raising his flask to her before taking a drink (*cue gasps from Moonchasers*)

This does not bode well for the Moonchasers. After being encouraged to train and to use their anger against vampires to their advantage, how will they react to finding out there are actually good vampires out in the world?

But that’s something to discuss another time, I guess. Let’s focus on Samantha’s return!! (YAY! *claps*)

Elsewhere, Supremo (Richard Gutierrez) offered Omar (Ahron Villena) the position of his right-hand man, as he got rid of the vampires who were betraying him or just weren’t good enough, and the latter accepted.

Will the Moonchasers accept their new vampire ally? And will Omar continue to play double agent for the LLU or will he prove to be loyal to Supremo? Catch an all-new episode of “La Luna Sangre” tonight on Primetime Bida after “FPJ's Ang Probinsyano."
