Sure, he is broodingly handsome, but Daniel Padilla isn’t really the type that stays in one corner and live in his own little world.
In fact, he’s even described by his “La Luna Sangre” co-star Gelli de Belen as someone who’s very “open.”
The veteran actress realized this before they started working for the primetime series and felt like she needed to build a strong rapport with Daniel since she’s playing as his aunt.
“Kasi siyempre tiyahin niya 'ko na parang nanay-nanayan, so naging importante sa akin to have a relationship with him, a connection. And it was so easy for me to connect with him, because he’s so open,” she shared in a recent interview with “Umagang Kay Ganda”.
Gelli plays as the aunt to Maymay Entrata’s character as well and also has kind words for her.
Since they share most of their scene time, the two get to spend a lot of time together.
“First si Maymay, she is such a darling. Napakalambing na bata. I love her. I really love Maymay. Ang bilis niya pumick-up, ang bilis niya makaintindi. ‘Pag may hindi siya maintindihan na something magtatanong siya. She’s so willing to learn,” said Gelli.
“La Luna Sangre” also stars Kathryn Bernardo, Richard Gutierrez, Tony Labrusca, and more. It airs weeknights on Primetime Bida.
