People had different reactions when rumors about Daniel Padilla playing a part in the upcoming “Darna” film started going around.
Many were surprised, including Daniel himself. And the same goes for “Darna” star Liza Soberano’s on-screen partner Enrique Gil.
He revealed to PUSH, "Nagulat ako sa rumors nung nalaman nga na hindi nga ako 'yung kasama dito. Well, let's see. Maghintay na lang po tayo kapag lumabas na 'yung news.”
His answer then prompted the question: Will you be in it, then?
Enrique replied, "Hindi ko din sinasabing hindi” before he burst out laughing.
But whether he’s in the film or not, Enrique couldn’t be more proud of Liza for taking on the role. "Siyempre I'm super, super happy for my leading lady (Liza) for all the blessings and I'm super proud of her.”
What’s for sure though is that there are big LizQuen projects coming our way, including the fantaserye “Bagani”.
"[I'm] super excited to finally ipakita na sa tao 'yung mga ginagawa namin. Kasi medyo matagal na silang nakaabang so konting hintay na lang po at kami naman din po ang makikita niyo," Enrique shared.
