Joshua Garcia is on top of his game.
Ever since his breakout role in “Vince and Kath and James” last year, projects have been given to him non-stop, including an upcoming teleserye, and another movie with leading lady Julia Barretto, “Love You to the Stars and Back.”
Despite all this, Joshua admitted that he’s afraid one day everything is going to vanish.
“Natatakot din naman po ako [kasi] ito ‘yung primary source of income [ng family],” he said during the “LYSB” grand media conference. “Natatakot ako na baka isang galaw ko lang ay malaglag ako.”
However, he added that he doesn’t want to constantly fear for his career in the industry.
“Sa industriyang ito, kung sino ‘yung totoo, siya ‘yung magtatagal,” he said, musing that being truthful is what made his love team with Julia successful.
“Siguro kaya din kami (him and Julia) nagustuhan ng tao is naging totoo lang kami sa nararamdaman namin at very seryoso kami sa trabaho namin as actors,” he said.
“Love You to the Stars and Back” premieres in cinemas on August 30.
