#LaLunaSangreMiyo Scene of the Day: Welcome kapamilya!

Last Friday’s (July 14) episode of “La Luna Sangre” was full of family! Tristan (Daniel Padilla) was happily surprised to see his family from the province had arrived in Manila and were in his house (well, the Sison’s house) when he came home from vampire hunting with the Moonchasers. And Malia (Kathryn Bernardo) found a family who was nice enough to take her in. Isn’t just all this great?! Family love all around! <3

As great as Tristan’s reunion was with his family, our scene of the day revolves around Malia and new family! First things first - when Kuto (John Steven de Guzman), the boy Malia helped from the previous episode, asked for HIS name (because remember! Malia changed her look to disguise herself as a boy), Malia said her name was Miyo. So, hello Miyo!

Kuto discovered that Miyo/Malia had nowhere to go for the night and offered to bring him to home to pay him back for the help. Here’s why this is our scene of the day:

  • The way Kuto’s family greeted Miyo/Malia so joyfully, with outstretched arms and wide smiles (“WELCOME KAPAMILYA!” sounds like a great way to be greeted when you get home hahaha)

  • How Nanay Dory (Sylvia Sanchez) knew immediately that Kuto must’ve owed something to Miyo/Malia to bring him home (talino ni Nanay - kilalang-kilala ang anak)

  • The way Dory and Greta (Meryll Soriano) were hesitant to take him in (huhu so sad! Ba't ayaw nila kay Miyo??)

  • How Berto (Dennis Padilla) tried to convince Dory to let Miyo stay because they needed another man in the house (HA! If you only knew)

  • The way Miyo/Malia was already walking away, but stopped when she heard Dory say something about corn with her super hearing (MAIS AAAAHHH)

  • How Miyo/Malia remembered her parents, her friends, and San Isidro as she ate the corn Dory gave him (HUHUHU the memories *teardrop*)

  • The way Dory was so happy to have sold all her corn to the people around when they saw Miyo/Malia eating it... (bilis ng tinda ni Aling Dory, ha)

  • ...and gave him some money as a thank you for unknowingly helping her (mabait din naman pala si Dory, 'no?)

Thankfully, Dory later allowed Miyo/Malia to stay with them (thank God for her big heart) when she found him sleeping outside their house very early the next day.

Will Malia ever tell them about her real identity or continue to live as Miyo for as long as she needs to? Catch an all-new episode of “La Luna Sangre” tonight on Primetime Bida after “FPJ's Ang Probinsyano.”
