Here's another proof that Angel Locsin is a real-life superhero.
Angel, who is known not only for her legendary acting career but also for her humanitarian efforts (so much so that she's been dubbed as the Philippines' Angelina Jolie), flew to Iligan City yesterday, June 8, where she visited evacuees from Marawi.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News, Angel volunteered to bring aid to our brothers and sisters in evacuation centers in and around Marawi.
Angel said, "Sana matapos na itong giyera. Para makabalik na ang mga pamilya sa mga tahanan nila at makapagsimula ulit."
She continued, "Sana matapos na rin ang giyera para makauwi na ang mga sundalo sa mga pamilyang naghihintay sa kanila."
Angel is coming back to television on "La Luna Sangre" alongside John Lloyd Cruz, Richard Gutierrez, Kathryn Bernardo, and Daniel Padilla. It will premiere this June 19 on Primetime Bida!
