Daniel Padilla has come so far since he started out in showbiz back in 2010, but it’s comforting to know that he has stayed down-to-earth despite his insane success.
During the grand press conference for “La Luna Sangre” last Tuesday, June 6, the actor related that he felt humbled while filming for a scene in Quiapo.
“Nag-shoot ako sa Quiapo kasi dun ‘yung mga fight scenes and sobrang na-enjoy ko… sobrang sarap gawin and makasama ang mga tao sa Quiapo, mga jeprox lahat. Lahat ng tao makikilala mo, lahat ng uri ng tao. Sobrang sarap… Nakaramdam ako dun ng humility. ‘Yun ‘yung mararamadaman mo sa lugar na ‘yun,” he said.
He further related that it felt good to come back to Quiapo after so many years.
“Dun ako bumibili ng jersey dati kapag may liga eh!” he shared. “‘Yung babalikan mo 'yung ganong lugar after ilang taon, ang sarap.”
Daniel plays Tristan in the series, a jeepney driver who always tries to save the people around him.
Watch out for his performance in “La Luna Sangre” when it premiers on Primetime Bida on June 19!
