Controversial artist Jake Zyrus has found his loudest critic in Thess Pineda, his grandmother.
Thess took to Facebook last June 19 to slam Jake — and the people she claimed "encouraged" him — for changing his name from Charice Pempengco. Thess condemned the decision and threatened to "find" those behind it.

In the comments section of the Facebook post, Thess went ahead and hit Jake for his sexuality, claiming that the singer is not a lesbian.
She wrote, "Hindi siya tomboy, ako ang makakapagsabi niyan dahil ako ang nagpalaki sa [kanya]."
In a reply to a commenter named Che Almor, Thess also alleged that Jake has lost all his money to the "greedy people" he's surrounded with.
She wrote, "Ubos ang billion dollars niya dahil nau-uto [ng] mga ganid."
"Uto-uto siya, walang [napag-aralan]. Grade 6 lang 'yan!"
Jake came out as a lesbian in an interview in the now-defunct "The Buzz" back in 2013. A year later, she told Oprah Winfrey in an episode of "Where Are They Now" that her "soul is male".
Jake changed his name in all his social media accounts last June 18.
He broke up girlfriend Alyssa Quijano last April after a four-year relationship.
