Ria Atayde is being offered a place as a candidate in Miss World Philippines.
 
According to an interview with Push published yesterday, May 31, Ria's mother, veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez, shared that her daughter has been getting offers to be a beauty queen. 
 
She said, "Kinukuha naman siya talaga, [we had a meeting before]."
 
Sylvia added that she's happy with whatever decision her daughter chooses to make, seeing as Ria has been tapped as one of the industry's rising stars.
 
"Desisyunan niya kung anong gusto niya, mag-beauty queen siya or gusto niya mag-showbiz. Ayaw ko siyang pakialaman. Kung anong gusto niya, bahala siya."
 
Ria stars in the hit Primetime series, "My Dear Heart". She also landed a role in the upcoming Star Cinema film, "Can We Still Be Friends?" which stars Gerald Anderson and Arci Munoz.
