It’s been two months since Robi Domingo and Gretchen Ho broke up, and while they maintain they’re good friends, they still can’t help feeling awkward around each other… especially in public.

The former couple crossed paths when they attended an event together last night, May 4, where Gretchen was the host and Robi was one of the endorsers.

The crowd began teasing them when the volleyball player-host asked Robi a question, and tried his best to answer with a straight face.

The tension was so palpable on stage that Gretchen joked Jasmine Curtis-Smith, also present at the event, to take over her hosting duties.

After the event, Gretchen said that what happened with her ex-boyfriend was completely expected.

“[Na-awkward ako] konti kasi siguro you can’t expect it to be like fully normal,” she told PUSH. “We’re good friends, hindi naman sobra, sakto lang.”

Gretchen and Robi were in a relationship for almost five years before announcing their split.
