Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach is back to fighting the good fight for HIV awareness.

In an Instagram post made last night, May 3, the beauty queen announced her new post as the United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS' Goodwill Ambassador for Asia and the Pacific.

She wrote, "Finally it's official! I will be working with UNAIDS as their Goodwill Ambassador for Asia and the Pacific to help raise awareness on HIV/AIDS and see the end of AIDS by 2030."

She continued, "Join our campaign by using the hashtag #LIVE2LUV ♥️ and don't forget to get yourself tested!"

Pia has been collaborating with organizations like UNICEF to spread HIV awareness since the beginning of her now legendary reign in 2015, and in an interview with "Bandila" last night, May 3, Pia expressed how happy she is to be finally working with the United Nations.

She enthused, "Sobrang saya ko na naging part ako ng United Nations, matagal ko nang gustong magtrabaho with United Nations."

She also detailed her first plan of action as a UNAIDS Ambassador.

"[I want] the age of consent to be lowered, so that more people can get themselves tested. Right now, the age [limit] is 18. We all start having sex much younger than that," she said, and added, "Oh my Gosh I can't believe I said that!"

Pia will tour Asian countries such as Thailand and Malaysia to begin her role as a Goodwill Ambassador.
