Cherry Pie has nothing but good words for KathNiel

"Ang masasabi ko lang ngayon, fan na ako."

This was the statement that Cherry Pie Picache, actress extraordinaire, gave about Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, during her thank-you speech at the "Can't Help Falling in Love" Thank You Party yesterday, May 9.

Cherry Pie played the role of Em, Gab's (Kathryn Bernardo) mother in the blockbuster film.

"First time [ko sila makatrabaho] tapos hindi ko [pa] inasahan," she added.

She went on to share more good words about the "1 billion love team."

"I've always been honest. Of course, KathNiel is KathNiel and you appreciate them for their work, for the things that they do," the 46-year-old actress explained. "But now that I've worked with them, they really work hard, they [are] eager to learn more and sana 'wag mawala 'yun."

Having been in the industry for more than two decades, Cherry Pie's advice is really of high value.

"Keep your feet always on the ground. Always be grateful for all the blessings that you have. Tapos, napaka-adorable and charming nila talaga. So keep it up guys!" she stressed.

KathNiel, on the other hand, also feels honored and grateful to be given the chance to work with the veteran actress.

"Tita Cherry Pie, maraming salamat. Ako nung first time kita nakita na-starstruck ako talaga ako sa'yo," Daniel admitted.

Kathryn related that she's "happy, happy, happy" with their working experience.

"Ilang shooting days lang with Tita Cherry Pie pero feeling ko at home ako 'pag nandyan siya. Thank you po sa pagtulong kahit mapa-light or heavy scenes. Thank you," the Queen of Hearts stressed.

"Can't Help Falling In Love" cast and crew celebrated the P300 million and still counting worldwide gross of the biggest summer movie yesterday.
