International singing sensation Charice just ended his four-year relationship with longtime partner Alyssa Quijano.

It was confirmed by Charice’s handler Carl Cabral through a text message sent to ABS-CBN News’ MJ Felipe.

"Yes, Charice and Alyssa have broken up and it was a mutual decision," said Carl, then gave an update on how the singer has been handling the split. "Charice is not accepting any interviews and now taking a break. He's doing fine and he's happy. Thank you very much."

Pilipino Star Ngayon earlier reported that Alyssa was seen leaving their apartment with bags in hand and said that Charice is now staying with a fan in Laguna.

Carl denied this and said, "The rumor that Charice is living with the fan is not true. He has bought his own house.”

Charice and Alyssa started dating in 2013 and were already in talks of getting married and having a child since their anniversary last year.
