Matteo Guidicelli talks about playing third party for KathNiel in 'CHFIL'
From "Dolce Amore" last year to "Can't Help Falling In Love" this 2017, you'd notice that Matteo Guidicelli's acting assignments were characters involved in a love triangle.

The Kapamilya singer-actor doesn’t mind it, though, because according to him, so far, the comments he has received for the Kathryn Bernardo-Daniel Padilla film were all positive.

"They were actually all surprised because we weren't allowed to post pictures back then when we were working together so when the trailer came out a lot of them like they were laughing 'Hahaha si Matteo nandyan' parang ganun," Matteo shared at the bloggers conference for their much-awaited film last week.

He added, "Everything [is] positive naman. They were excited to see what my role is."

The 27-year-old actor hopes to receive more love and positive comments from KathNiel fans after watching the movie.

"Wala naman (bashing). Wala pa naman. Sana wala. They seem interested," Matteo explained. "Parang surprised why I was there. I have eyeglasses there, no facial hair, my face there is kinda different."

Matteo then assured Kathryn and Daniel's fans that there's need to worry because just like them, he is also a self-confessed KathNiel fan.

"I'm a legit KathNiel (fan). I promise you these two people have so much love, so much magic, so much passion with each other and it makes you happy, talagang it makes you smile. Iba eh.

"I don't know about you Direk but me seeing Kath and DJ together makes me smile. Different eh, the way they look at each other, the way they touch each other, iba," the Kapamilya actor relayed.

In "Can't Help Falling In Love," Gab (Kathryn) is a "close to perfect girl" who's already set to wed her long-time boyfriend Jayson (Matteo). But her world suddenly turns upside down when she discovers that she is already married - but to a total stranger named Dos (Daniel)!

As she figures out with Dos how this unlikely incident happened between them, Gab starts breaking her own rules to survive their crazily confusing situation. But with the changes in her well-planned life seems to come a change of heart as well. Oh no!

Will she walk down the aisle towards her long-time lover, or will she take the plunge with a perfect stranger?

Let's all find out the answer to these questions and more this April 15 when this Star Cinema kilig summer surprise hits cinemas!

"Can't Help Falling In Love" is directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar.
