Janella Salvador has lost more than P100,000 in her bank account after falling victim to debit account fraud.

Janella’s mom Jenine Desiderio revealed in an interview with “TV Patrol” last night, March 14, that she only discovered the irregularities when she sorted out her daughter’s bank statements. They were not notified by the bank because the account was not enrolled in its online system.

The debit charges happened back in August 2016 in Tokyo Disneyland, Japan, and amounted to P110,000.

Jenine maintained that during that time, she and Janella were in the Philippines.

“I find it really sad and disappointing that people can just steal a big amount of money that other people worked hard for,” Janella said.
