Is Gerald Anderson ready for marriage?
In a report by ABS-CBN News published today, February 23, the actor talked about Bea Alonzo, presently the apple of his eye.
"I hope I complement her," he said, "She's my better half."
It is Bea and Gerald's second go at love, having previously dated in 2010. They reconnected while working on the blockbuster hit "How to Be Yours" last year. They confirmed they were indeed dating last August.
Gerald continued, "[I'm enjoying] 'yung partnership. Kasi napaka-busy din niya, so kung ano 'yung oras na makakasama ko siya, it's a privilege for me."
When asked if he was ready to put a ring on it, Gerald's answered without hesitation.
"Of course! Oh yeah, oh yeah."
However, Gerald clarified that he's not ready for that kind of commitment yet.
He said, "Siyempre naman, malayo pa ['yung marriage]. I have so many things I'm juggling at the same time. Maraming priorities, and as a person gusto ko i-fulfill lahat ng 'yan before even thinking about that."
Gerald is taping for the upcoming television series, "Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin," reuniting him with his original ka-love team Kim Chiu. Meanwhile, Bea stars in the hit television series "A Love to Last."
