Director Cathy Garcia-Molina has confessed she doesn’t know why her much-loved film “One More Chance” is a generation movie.
“Honestly, I don’t know. In fact, up to now, yung ‘One More Chance’ ‘pag sinasabi nila that it’s a generation movie, ‘di ko alam why,” Direk Cathy said on our exclusive interview with her.
She added, “‘Di ko kino-consider, I’m not good at that. But I am happy that they consider it.”
The Bea Alonzo-John Lloyd Cruz starrer is also considered as a modern classic, and Direk Cathy explained what this means.
“Classic? Siguro when you call classic, it transcends time. So kumbaga that story kung pinanood mo 20 years ago, ‘pag pinanood mo ngayon, you’d still understand, you’d still relate to it,” she said.
Direk Cathy has a new film that will surely go timeless as well as it tackles a story anyone who’s ever had their hearts broken would be able to relate to.
It is titled “My Ex And Whys” and it’s starring the phenomenal team-up of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.
"My Ex and Whys" follows the story of Cali (Liza), a blogger who owns the up and coming blog, "The Bakit List," and her ex Gio (Enrique), who will return to her life unexpectedly and surprisingly.
