Xian Lim is gearing up for a lot of solo projects this year, the most recent of which is his upcoming appearance in the primetime series “A Love to Last.”
The news was revealed during Xian’s bloggers conference yesterday, January 27.
While his appearance in the show is exciting, there was the issue of whether he still has time to do a project with onscreen partner Kim Chiu.
“Me and Kim, I guess sa 2017 hindi muna kami magkakatrabaho,” he said. “The management has plans for us... yung binigay sa amin na mga projects, that’s what caused na hindi muna kami magkasama.”
When asked what he felt about taking a break from working with Kim, he admitted there were pros and cons to it.
“Hindi naman natin maiiwasan na ‘yung mga sumuporta from 2011, nagulat sila… Kumbaga ito na ‘yung naipundar na KimXi… ano na ang mangyayari?” he said.
Nevertheless, Xian maintained that they still spend time together when they’re not working.
“Isu-surprise ko ulit siya sa Valentine’s day,” he revealed. “More than the material things… Kim loves surprises… kaya consistent ako doon.”
Xian is also working on a new movie with Coleen Garcia. Meanwhile, Kim is set to return to TV via “Ikaw Lang Ang Iibigin” with Gerald Anderson.
