Janica Nam Floresca immortalized her love for late boyfriend Franco Hernandez by getting three tattoos in his honor.
She recently shared the tattoos on her Instagram account, and explained the meaning of each in an interview with PEP.
The first is a tattoo of a mountain on her nape which symbolizes how one’s faith can overcome even the greatest problems.
“God is greater than highs and lows,” she said.
The next is the date she and Franco officially became a couple: January 1, 2017. Above it are the words “forever in my heart,” inked on her left collarbone.
Lastly, Janica got a tattoo of her and Franco’s silhouettes on her torso, a copy of the photo they took on their sixth monthsary.
“Walang sakit,” Janica said after getting all three tattoos at once.
Franco was a member of the "It's Showtime" all-male group Hashtags. He died after drowning last November 12 in Davao Occidental. He and his companions were riding a boat when a wave hit it, where he fell off and was not recovered in time. He was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
