Award-winning actress Meryll Soriano told DJ Jhai Ho's "Hotspot" that she had rejected a number of project offers before finally accepting a role in the primetime fantaserye “La Luna Sangre.”
“Hinintay ko talaga ‘to,” she said. “I really wanted to do this.”
She waited for the perfect show for her big comeback to television as she took a quite a long break.
“I really wanted to go back and to really have a nice story and a character to portray. So I really waited for this kasi alam ko na very challenging and I love going back to fantasy. You know like 'Marina' (2004), 'Kampanerang Kuba' (2005), so I really am very happy na bumalik ako sa fantaserye,” Meryll shared.
Meryll plays Greta Lumakad, the eldest adoptive child of Dory (Sylvia Sanchez) and Berto (Dennis Padilla). She was later turned into a vampire to use against Malia (Kathryn Bernardo). She has proven herself to be a loyal follower to Supremo (Richard Gutierrez) as she holds a deep anger towards Malia for causing the death of her mom and her baby.
The actress also shared her working experience with Kathryn and Daniel Padilla.
“Ang sarap. Ang gaan. Walang problema. Ang cute-cute nila - nilalanggam sila sa set ‘pag magkasama,” she gushed.
“And they’re both very good actors so I’m very honored to work with them. Ang husay,” she added.
Catch Meryll in “La Luna Sangre” weeknights on Primetime Bida after “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
