"Doromal, next time magsalita ka ha?"
That was the sentence that Hashtags member Jon Lucas shared on his Instagram Stories yesterday, December 4.
Jon was referring to another Hashtags member, Tom Doromal, in that statement, that immediately got mixed reactions from netizens.
As we know, Tom's family is the owner of the resort where another Hashtags member, Franco Hernandez. died last November 11 following a drowning incident.
Recently, Franco's girlfriend Janica Nam Floresca, who was with them when the said incident happened, stepped forward to release her version of the story, saying that there were discrepancies in previous statements about Franco's death.

On Twitter today, December 5, Jon posted a statement regarding his controversial Instagram Stories post, starting with, "Bago pa ko mapasama sa pamilya ng ka-grupo ko dahil sa mga taong nagmamagaling at OA :) Unahan ko na kayo po ah. Salamat."
He then posted a screenshot of a long note that included: "'Doromal next time magsalita ka ha?' Magsalita hindi tungkol sa issue, kundi direkta sa mga taong nanghuhusga sa kanya at nagsasabi nang masama, inaasar namin siya na ang dami ng naninisi sa kanya kaya sabi ko next time magsalita ka ha? Ganun lang po 'yun."
Some netizens even commented that Jon might have something to do with Franco's death. But Jon strongly negated this.
"Talaga? Ang layo-layo ko kasabwat ako? Ni hindi ko nga alam na nasa Davao sila, talagang patagal nang patagal ang mga tao sa social media palala nang palala," a part of his post said.
Jon said that everyone just wants to know the truth but it's the concerned families who want that the most.
"Lahat tayo gusto ng katotohanan sa nangyari, labas ako dun actually, ang pinakamahalagang makaalam nito ay 'yung buong pamilya."
