What excites Mariel and Kylie this 2018

Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa and Bb. Pilipinas-International 2017 Mariel De Leon ended their 2017 with a bang; both debuted their acting chops in the epic fantasy action film "Carlo J. Caparas' Ang Panday."

In their separate Star Cinema Chat guestings, the two beauty queens revealed what they are looking forward to this 2018.

"I'm excited to pass my crown. Besides that, for now, I don't have any plans yet that's why I'm more excited for it because I don't know what's going to happen," Mariel shared.

"I still have to see and plan how this year goes and then..., whatever comes my way, I'll accept it," she added.

Kylie, on the other hand, is excited to go out of her comfort zone.

"Siyempre napasa ko na 'yung crown... So moving on stage na in my life which is I had to say nakakatakot siya. It inspires me to go out of my comfort zone, to try new things whether that would be acting," Kylie related.

She also promised that she would continue working on her advocacies.

"It's an exciting thing pero 'di ko pa rin makakalimutan 'yung mental health matters ko," she stressed of her "baby."

"Sobrang grateful ako sa reign ko as Miss International. One 'yung natulungan ko the people around me, 'yung mental health awareness... My advocacy. We're putting up a foundation now, it's called Mental Health Matters. Nire-register pa namin," she revealed.

And there are more reasons why she's grateful for the past year.

"'Yung pag-share ng story ko and 'yung being able to share what I love the most to others," Kylie shared. "As Miss International, I met other girls from different countries, and I was able to travel too. My whole year as Miss International ay sobrang blessing po para sa'kin. Feel ko kapag wala 'yun 'di po ako makakarating dito kaya sobrang thankful ako."

"I really believe na dapat lagi kang thankful for anything kahit maliliit na bagay lang," Kylie ended.

Kylie and Mariel both play Coco's leading ladies in "Ang Panday".

The film, which also stars Albert Martinez, Agot Isidro, Elisse Joson, McCoy De Leon, Awra Briguela, Jake Cuenca, and many more, is now on its second blockbuster week!
