Christmas Day is fast approaching and Coco Martin's newest leading ladies, Mariel De Leon and Kylie Verzosa, are very much excited to finally spend quality time with their families.
"Sa bahay lang (kami sa Pasko) kasi all my kuyas moved abroad na. So it's just me, my sister, and my parents. Usually we just stay at home lang naman on Christmas. We just eat and be together. 'Yun lang," Mariel shared in her Star Cinema Chat guesting two weeks ago.
In a separate SC chat interview, Kylie revealed that she will spend Christmas in Baguio.
"Taga-Baguio po kasi ako so I will spend time with my family. Uuwi ako. I'll spend Christmas and New Year with them. Family time," she happily relayed.
Just like any other Filipino families, these two beauty queens also have Christmas traditions that they grew up with.
"I guess it's just every year my mom makes her fruit salad. We always tell her to make even if she's tired," Mariel said.
"Arroz caldo (ang laging meron sa pasko namin)," Kylie shared, on the other hand. "Syempre 'di mawawala 'yung gift-giving. Siguro ngayon makakabili na ako ng gifts. Very filipino. I really think it's all about family. I believe that the more you give, the more you get. So bigay ka lang ng bigay."
Miss International 2016 went on to share her Christmas wish.
"For the people around me to have more happiness, success, and love sa life nila. Happy na ako. So sana 'yung mga tao rin around me, happy na sila," Kylie related.
Awww. Inspiring! ❤
