Pia Wurtzbach has Bea Alonzo's support for her debut movie “The Revenger Squad.”
On “Magandang Buhay” last December 19, the beauty queen was surprised with a video of Bea wishing her all the best on her journey into showbiz.
“Congratulations in advance sa bago mong pelikula, I’m sure bukod sa pagiging beauty queen, magiging movie queen ka rin!” Bea exclaimed. “I wish you all the best. Parang wala na akong mahihiling pa kundi i-continue mo lang to inspire people and to always be a blessing to everyone. Good luck, Pia.”
The actress also recalled some memories they had together when they starred in the teen-oriented series “K2BU.”
“Magkasabay kasi talaga kami nag-umpisa ni Pia. Nung pumupunta ako dati sa bahay nila, mahilig siya sa Final Fantasy. Hindi kayo maniniwala. Nung bata kami, boyish ‘yan. Hindi ko talaga akalain na magiging beauty queen, Miss Universe pa 'di ba?” Bea said, and even shared that she cried tears of joy when Pia won the Miss Universe crown.
“I’m very proud of Pia kasi ang layo na ng narating niya, tsaka ang ganda-ganda nung mensahe na binigay niya sa mga tao, ‘yung inspirasyon niya na… never to give up on your dreams,” she said.
Pia was visibly touched over Bea’s message, and related that she would love for them to work on a project someday.
“Gusto ko siyang maka-work and hopefully baka may maitulong din siya sa akin sa acting. Forte niya ‘yan. Gamay na gamay na niya 'yan. Baka maturuan din niya ako ng a thing or two sa acting,” she said.
