"It was wonderful."
This was how Kylie Verzosa described to us her whole experience in making "Carlo J. Caparas' Ang Panday" at the sidelines of the film's press conference last Thursday, December 14.
"It was a very good experience for me. I've been very lucky to be part of the cast like that," she added.
Miss International 2016 admitted that she owes everything to director and lead actor Coco Martin who guided her all throughout.
"Super nice. Super hardworking niya. Talino niya," Kylie shared. "Marami siyang shinare sa'kin kasi siguro alam niya na I'm just new in the industry. Marami siyang shinare na how he started na it took a lot of hard work."
The beauty queen then recalled the King of Television's top three secrets in doing what he does the best.
"He also gave me insights like nanonood siya ng ibang actors, manonood pa siya ng ibang films, magbabasa pa siya ng more [Filipino] scripts," Kylie relayed.
That day, the 25-year-old newbie actress also got the chance to watch her debut film and here's her reaction:
"Parang pinanood ko siya nang ganito (naka-close mata). Tapos nung medyo alam ko na okay na 'yung scene ko, medyo pinanood ko na siya. Okay naman po siya."
"I'm happy with the results," she stressed in the end.
Kylie's rival for Coco's heart in "Ang Panday" is Bb. Pilipinas-International 2017 Mariel De Leon.
The film, directed by Coco under his real name Rodel Nacianceno, will be out in cinemas starting Christmas!
