We may know her as the gorgeous niece of Claudine Barretto (whose resemblance is also uncanny!), a member of the "ASAP" It Girls, and the other half in JoshLia with Joshua Garcia, but who is Julia Barretto really behind the camera? Who would have thought that A Julia Barretto actually eats and LOVES street foods? Just like the rest of us, she loves fish balls with sweet sauce, banana cue, and hotdog on sticks! Kewl!
#2: She’s really friendly
In the same interview, Julia shared that she really is a friendly person, although she only has a small circle of friends. For her, a few friends whom she can trust is what she’d rather have, than a big one she can’t actually rely on.
#3: She sees the good in everyone
It’s rare to meet people these days who do not judge others, and Julia is proud to be one of them. She also revealed in the same interview that her big heart lets her understand the reason behind why a person has turned out that way they are, rather than pointing out the flaws and mistakes they made. Way to go, Jul!

When asked whether she will choose someone who loves her or whom she loves, she truthfully answered neither – because what she wants is someone who actually loves her family. Even if she means it as a joke (or not!), we can see how much Julia really cares for her family.

As a student, Julia knows how to be honest; if she doesn’t understand something, she’d very much willingly admit it. She believes there’s no point in pretending you know everything – it’s you who will lose in the end, anyway. Well said!

There’s no beating around the bushing for Julia, as she straightforwardly answered how much he likes his on-screen partner Joshua Garcia. She said, “Syempre pinayagan ko siya manligaw kasi may gusto rin naman ako sa kanya.” Werk it, girl!
#7: She’s very protective of her partner

Be it for on-screen or personal reasons, Julia is really protective of Joshua. In an interview where they were asked about Joshua being emotional, she related, “When you're seeing somebody who's special to you going through something like that, you feel for him. So whatever he's feeling, I start to feel also. I'm very protective of Joshua, so as much as possible, in any way, I can help him.” Seriously… how lucky can Joshua be? <3
