Matteo Guidicelli had more personal and deeper revelations on his relationship with Sarah Geronimo during his interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" last Monday, November 13.
"She’s honestly the listener," Matteo revealed. "I have to learn from her. Sarah teaches me to appreciate the basic, the little simple things that sometimes we forget to appreciate because we take it for granted.”
The Kapamilya heartthrob admitted that for him, girls are hard to understand but "at the end of the day you just have to listen extra carefully."
When it comes to their "LQ (Lovers Quarrel)," Matteo admitted that he's the more expressive one.
"I'm Italian eh," he quipped.
"We quarrel sometimes here and there, basically my fault," Matteo added.
The 27-year-old singer-actor then related that "if I could go back (and turn back time), she would’ve been my first girlfriend.”
“Because today I would have gone through all my past relationships, with this relationship (with Sarah). I live and learned so much (from her)," he explained.
Aside from the lessons in love, Sarah has also been a big influence to Matteo's music.
"No doubt Sarah is a big influence to my music, to whatever I do. She puts blood inside it, she pumps the blood faster kumbaga. She’s a big inspiration," he said.
He even teased about one of his songs that seems to be dedicated to the Popstar Royalty.
"'Wag Ka Nang Umuwi' is if you have someone in your life, and you’re just with that person you love and it’s time to go home, but you don't want to go home and you want to spend that extra 10 minutes with her," he explained.
Matteo is among the cast members of director Chito Roño's newest horror masterpiece "The Ghost Bride," which is now on its third week in cinemas nationwide.
