Arguably one of the younger celebrities more adept in handling online bashing, Maris Racal has spoken out about the ins and outs of being a celebrity in such divisive times.
In her profile with Cosmo.ph's Spotlight, the ultra talented performer shared that there are times all the hate gets under her skin but that doesn't mean she necessarily dwells on it.
She also revealed that she sees right through online bullies, and even fearlessly called out their toxic behavior.
"They only bash kasi they love somebody else.
Bahala sila. I'm happy naman with what I'm doing."
According to Maris, she just remains true to herself and hopes for the best.
"I deal with issues by saying what is true kasi mas naa-appreciate nung tao 'pag nagiging tototo ka," she enthused.
Maris has recently been (officially) paired up with fellow performer Inigo Pascual and is a mainstay on "ASAP" as a member of all-girl group BFF5.
